Do you ever wonder if it’s the right time to do what you have always wanted to do? Do you come up with all the reasons why it’s just not possible at this particular moment? Too much to do to fit it in, even though you know, in the absolute core of your being, that you will LOVE it.
Well, guess what?
There never is a ‘right’ time. If you want to do something all you need to do is make a decision and make it fit into your schedule. You actually know you will make it work once you have done that and you will reap the reward of taking aligned action.
Perhaps it’s the money side of making a commitment that’s holding you back. Maybe you don’t feel like you deserve to spend money on yourself in order to pursue an interest that you have had since childhood. For goodness sake, if the desire has been there for that long, SURELY that is a sign that it’s exactly what you’re meant to be doing! I know it’s important to you to put everyone else first but there really does come a time when it is YOUR turn to revisit what you have always been so passionate about.
Recently I asked some of my adult students what it was that they enjoyed most about the program taught here at Rhythm & Tunes Piano School. Their answers ranged from learning so many songs so quickly from memory, to the logic of the methodology because it helped them finally make sense of music. The overarching feeling amongst everyone seemed to be the anticipation of sitting at any piano anywhere, anytime and having the FREEDOM to just play great sounding music.
