Do you ever feel like you have to wait before good things to happen to you? Is that what you were told growing up?

You have probably heard the saying “Good things come to those who wait”. That’s all well and good but what about if we changed that up a bit so that it becomes “Good things come to those who take action and make decisions that they know are going to benefit their overall sense of wellbeing and brain health in the long run” A bit long winded I guess but you get my drift. WHY do you have to wait? WHY can’t you do it or have it now? Exactly how long are you going to keep on waiting? Forever? Until the ‘time’ is right? Until your husband says yes? Until your children say yes? How come you keep drowning out that little voice that is telling you to go for it?

I have had many people tell me over the years that they have put all their kids through piano lessons and still haven’t enrolled themselves, even though they have been thinking about it for so long. They have waited and waited and waited… IMAGINE all the music they could have been enjoying in that time if they just could have found 10-15 minutes of regular playing time each day. Yes, that’s all it takes 10-15 minutes. So, it is a commitment but certainly not a huge or onerous commitment. In fact, most students tell me what an ENJOYABLE and exciting process it is for them.
